Bhima Pulses is an initiative by the Karnataka State Pulses Abhivridhi Mandali Limited, a government organization established to promote the pulse sector in Karnataka. The organization was originally focused on Tur (Redgram/Arhar) production but later expanded to include all pulse varieties produced in the Kalyana Karnataka and Belagavi regions. Bhima Pulses was launched to ensure better returns for pulse farmers by commercializing products like GI Gulbarga Tur Dal. The company adheres to high quality standards, ensuring that all products meet or exceed FSSAI guidelines. Bhima Pulses is also setting up state-of-the-art processing facilities to enhance product offerings.
