The Integrated Coconut Processing Plant operated by the Anjarakkandy Farmers' Service Co-operative Bank Ltd. (AFSC Bank) was established to boost the local coconut industry. The plant, which started production in 2002, aims to support local farmers by purchasing their coconuts and processing them into various high-value products like coconut oil, coconut milk, and coconut charcoal. This facility promotes sustainable practices and aims for zero waste by utilizing every part of the coconut.
