Established in 2004 by Royal Decree No. 48/2004, the Agricultural & Fisheries Development Fund (AFDF) is dedicated to financing sustainable projects in Oman's agricultural, livestock, and fisheries sectors. Aligned with Oman Vision 2040, AFDF aims to enhance food security, promote economic diversification, and support the sustainable management of natural resources. The fund has financed numerous projects across various governorates, contributing to the development and sustainability of these vital sectors.
