Exhibiting at World Food India 2024

The Open Field, established in 2018 by Dr. Manisha and Abhishek Oraon, is an innovative farm located in Khunti, Jharkhand. The project integrates tribal wisdom with modern innovation, focusing on community empowerment, economic development, and sustainable agro-tourism. The Open Field is recognized for its contributions to local empowerment, including the largest rose plantation in Jharkhand, the first in-house hot air balloon launch in the state, and the establishment of a sustainability network. The farm also offers farm stays, workshops, and farm-to-table dining experiences, all aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
